You can download the latest version of the YouTube from the Android and iOS appstore. These apps now include the optional dark theme which can be enabled via the settings menu.

In Today's post we detail the steps to enable dark theme on Android.
  1. Update YouTube app to the latest version as available in your AppStore. Visit here.
  2. Open the YouTube app on your Android device and tap your account profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen. A small menu will pop up.
    If account icon is hidden; to get the option to appear tap Home from the bottom menu.
  3. Then Tap Settings.
  4. In Settings, tap General.
  5. In the next screen toggle the Dark theme. Tap the switch to the right of the setting to enable/disable the Dark Theme.
