Telegram and its bot platform are now more profound than ever, it has seen its user base explode. Telegram offers an amazing programmed chat bot service that is underutilized or unknown to most of its users. There are a lot of things in which some of these bots are better than their app counterparts. If you find a good telegram bot that isn’t mentioned here, do mention it here.

  1. @IFTTT It can be used as an RSS reader, Reddit release notifier, monitor your child's smartphone usage; It can also link your Telegram groups or channels to more than 360 other services.
  2. lang_translate_bot: Translates text from any language.
  3. Feed Reader Bot: It monitors Facebook/Youtube/Twitter accounts, and sends messages when new posts are made.
  4. @keepabot is an amazon price tracker for Telegram. It requires you to have keepa extension installed on your browser on pc. You can only add items to track only from your PC although price threshold alerts will appear on telegram as well if choosen.
  5. If the file you wish to download is available as an attachment to a telegram message you can forward the message to @GetPublicLinkBot to get the file separated and then add it to download manager.
  6. @tlgurbot lets you upload photos to tlgur from within Telegram. You can use it to create a link for your file send it any file of size<10MB to obtain a download url for your file.
  7. weightbot
    This bot helps to monitor your weight, calculate body mass index and show statistics of changes in your weight.
  8. junction_bot
    Collects all posts from selected channels, so you can read them like a news feed.
  9. SaveVideoBot
    Send video link from any video sharing websites (like Youtube, Vimeo, Instagram, 9gag, Soundcloud, DailyMotion, ZippCast, ...) to @SaveVideoBot and receive the media file just in a few seconds.
  10. voicybot
    You can record your voice in its chat thread and tap on the send button. The bot converts the voice file into text and sends it to you.
  11. exactlyappbot
    It is your own dictionary inside Telegram. Simply type the word in the message box of its chat thread and you will be greeted with its meaning and pronunciation, presented in the form of an actual dictionary layout.
  12. photosetterbot
    It offers OCR functionality within telegram. Upload an image with some text to its chat thread. The bot will return a message with the text from the image.
  13. Watchbot:  A bot to monitor your website.This bot can prove helpful for any blogger or web developer. It can help him keep an eye on the current condition of their website.(UP or DOWN).
  14. URL Uploader: A Quick way to upload files to telegram by url.

    Daily upload limit:1GB.
    This bot can prove helpful if you want you to download a file that has link timeout. That is the download link will only be available to your ip for say 10min and the file size is more than the size your net connection can download in the time period then just share the link with this bot it will upload the file onto telegram and you can download it from telegram to your computer anytime!
  15. URL Pro: Expand shortened urls and shorten long urls.
  16. Youtube Watcher: Be notified whenever your favourite Youtube channel posts a video.
  17. TheRSSBot: You can subscribe to RSS feed addresses and this bot will send the update every hour.
  18. RSS: You can subscribe to RSS channels. Please remember to include 'http://' to links.
The next three bots can be used in any chat thread by mentioning their name in the beginning of the message:
  1. @bold: In ant chat thread type in @bold before your message & select your desired formatting style. You can format your text in bold, italics and Fixedsys styles.
  2. @imdb bot lets you search for movie details from IMDb within a chat thread. You just have to type @imdb, followed by the movie name and select the result from the list. The IMDb movie info will be sent to that contact.
  3. @vid bot lets you search for a YouTube video and share the link within chat threads.  To search youtube videos within a chat, type @vid <your search term>
  4. @clockbot for current time of any place in the world from Telegram. To find time within chat type @clockbot <any location name>
  5. @utubebot is a YouTube Video and MP3 Downloader . To search youtube videos within chat type @vid <your search term>
