How to switch Network to 3G only on any android device..!!

Why should i do this??

• In a country like India where we frequently suffer from range issues the best way to tackle the issue of data connection switching constantly between 2G and 3G is by switching network mode to WCDMA only (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) mode. 

In order to switch it to WCDMA only, of course there are options available to do the same in network settings of your phone,but in certain devices especially in Moto G an option for 3g only (WCDMA ONLY) is not available in settings.In this post we are going to see how to enable WCDMA only on such mobiles.the way we are going to use is via Secret codes in available android.

How to do it??

• WCDMA mode can be enabled through the Secret Code: 

  Type *#4636#* in keypad (Screen#1 Show what you will see)

  Navigate to Phone / Device information (Screen#2 Show what you will see)

  Then "Set preferred network type" to WCDMA only (from drop down menu).(Screen#3)
