We are here today to share with you what Jio offers, in terms of apps. Though you may have downloaded their app line up for generating the bar code required to get the sim, you may never have used it.
 All apps listed below requires just the Jio sim account name and password to access and can be used via the any Wifi/Internet connection at your home. All these apps are also available for download on IPAD. All of the Jio Apps offered for your platform can be found here: Apple and android.
So here we list the apps it offers to its users on all platforms:
  • JioTV Live Sports Movies Shows: Reliance Jio's TV streaming app offer as many as 368 live channels. JioTV application is available for download via Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. The thing you may not know is that these apps can be used via the Wifi connection at your home. You only require an activated Jio sim account name and password to make use of this facility. So if you have any Ipads at home and you Wifi has more speed/ more consistent than Jio 4G. Go ahead download the app and view your favorite channel for free. 
Another off-beat functionality offered by the JioTV app is that it lets you watch Live TV channels and programmes of the past seven days on any device at any point in time. The user interface (UI) of the app is multilingual and is available in 10 different languages.
  • JioCinema Movies TV Music: It is a video on demand app. The mobile app allows you to watch popular Hindi and English movies anytime. You can also watch latest movies trailer and music videos.

  •  JioMags - Premium Magazines : It has virtually all the Indian magazines and many international magazines available in digital format. You can view and search the magazines based on category and language. You can even set language preference to show only those language magazines which you understand. You can even select magazines to put into favorites. You can download any magazines to the device and can access that offline. All the downloaded magazines can be accessed from My library section.

  • JioMusic - HD Music & Radio : It provides Unlimited Ad-Free access to listen and download HD music in your favorite language. All the downloaded songs can be accessed from Downloads section.

  • JioNewspaper : It offers option to explore and read a wide range of news publications from all over India in 10+ languages. As the app is in earlier stages of development, it is not available for download for all users. You can download the apk from here.
