In a country like India where we frequently suffer from range issues the best way to tackle the issue of data connection switching constantly between 2G,3G and 4G/LTE is by switching network mode to 4G only.
You can either do this via network settings of your device, but in certain devices this option may not be available in settings, Or you just want to double check that your device is functioning in 4G only network mode.
In any case, in this post we are going to see how to enable 4G/LTE only on android.
The way we are going to employ here makes use of Secret codes of android. A list of all android secret codes can be found here.

- Type *#*#4636#*#* in the keypad.
- Navigate to Phone / Device information.
- Then scroll down to "Set preferred network type" and set it to 4G/LTE only (from drop down menu).
