Amazo has confirmed on Echo Dot product page that all Indian Amazon Echo Dot Devices will get Voice control for Fire TV via echo dot starting Mid November. They were quoted saying "You can use Echo to voice-control Fire TV, beginning mid-November. This functionality will be available on all existing Fire TV devices in India, via a software update. " as an answer to query from one of the smart device user on its amazon echo product page on Amazon.in . This is a welcome move by Amazon distinguishing itself in the smart home space.
