With the introduction of Ryzen 3rd gen. AMD has arguably got better performance than a same spec intel part. Hence, with sales of Ryzen soaring having bought one ourself recently; in this post we look to help fellow Ryzen adopters with a set of software they should run on their PC after first boot.
  1. CPU-Z: Check detailed CPU info.
  2. MemTest86: How to use is available here. Test to check if the memory sticks are good or bad.
  3. GPU-Z: Check detailed GPU info.
  4. HWinfo: Check all info relating to your PC including clock speed, power usage, all temperature sensor readings, Various fans speeds and much more.
  5. RyzenMaster: AMD software for monitoring your CPU.

Some of our observations from our Ryzen 3000 build:

X570 chipset temp: 64-67 degree Celsius
Chipset fan speed- 2650rpm mostly.
R5 3600 temp with stock cooler: 45-75 degree Celsius
Stock cooler fan speed- 1400-1730 rpm

That's all for now!
