Q: Should I install a cache cleaner app on my android device?
A: We do not use any cache cleaner apps. But if you would like to clean cache of individual apps when they don't function as expected or something like that; we would suggest you to use the app manager option within settings or install something like App Info Manager that takes you to app info screen for individual apps. Periodically using background apps and process list to check for background apps and clearing their cache might help prevent android device from slowing down with time.

A: Android devices slow down with time because of various reasons.
- You can use File Explorer to Sort, find and transfer unwanted or large files to other devices. Use the "show folder size" option to navigate to the largest sized file containing folder. For more time consuming and large file transfer and file management just connect your Android device via power USB cable to your PC and browse folders from your PC.
- If apps are the ones hoarding space. You can use App info manager to list apps by size and delete the space hoarding apps that you don't need.
- Periodically using background apps and process list to check for background apps and clearing their cache.
- Doing heavy browsing and other web activity using your laptop might also help prolong your device's battery life and lifespan of your device as a whole.
Q: Are APKs safe? How to ensure an APK is safe before installation ?
A: Most of them are. Don't judge an APK by its name or package name. Judge it by its permissions. A worthy companion to discover pesky permissions would be File Explorer. It opens a separate page for each apk file you open that lists all permissions used by the app; even ones by individual activities, services within an app; you can find out more about individual permissions in use by the app before installing; clicking on each permission opens up a dialog box that lists a more user understandable definition of the permission.Q: Are memory booster app of any help for my android?
A: We have never used any memory booster app on our device. We however use background apps and process list on all our devices now and again just to check if any apps are behaving ambiguously in the background. Normally android OS deals with background apps as more resources become necessary for the system to function; The app we mentioned is a healthy aid to quicken the process as per our need.
