There are many a times when we prefer to save a webpage as pdf, be it for printing later, for backup or for reading it later. In today's post we will be looking at how to save a webpage as pdf in safari using an inbuilt addon/extension available in Safari. This method can also be used to export PDFs stored in iBooks to any other app.
Step 1: Open the webpage or iBooks PDF file. Tap on the share icon next to the refresh icon in Safari. "Save PDF to iBooks" will directly save the webpage as PDF to iBooks app. However for this method we will be exporting it as PDF so that it can be shared/saved to any PDF supporting app on your device.
Tap on the "print" icon from the second row of icons next to copy as is visible in the above screenshot.
Step 2: Now in the "Print Options" screen that appears tap or zoom in on the preview of the webpage that appear. This will take you to a pdf of the webpage as shown in the following screenshot.
Step 3: In this screen, again tap on the Open with icon at the top right corner of the screen, a list of apps that support sharing or saving of PDF will appear, as shown in the following screenshot.
Step 4: From the list choose the app with which you would like to open/share the PDF.
