In this new post series we will introduce you periodically to new ios apps. This week we are looking at a widget, that lets you monitor the network speed on your iDevice. You just have to add the widget to your lock screen, then a pull down from the top of the screen in any app should show the network speed.
In order to access the widget install Traffic Monitor - Mobile Speed Test & Usage Widget app and then hit "Edit", choose "Traffic Monitor - Speed" and drag it to a suitable location. As we were only on the lookout for a widget to monitor network speed, we turned off various other options including Background location, as is visible, from the screenshots shown below.
The widget choice screen and the widget name is shown in the screenshot below.
