If you have an Amazon Fire TV you will have encountered this problem at
least once. We ourselves have faced this more than once and have
effectively fixed them. Since finding the right
solution can be troublesome. Today we will be listing out all possible
ways to fix this. We will be updating this post as/if we face more
of this problem, hopefully helping you fix it sooner. Without any further
adieu, let's get to it.
For an app that requires internet connection to function, check if internet is connected.

- If any Bluetooth device is connected, Disconnect the Bluetooth device/ Turn off the connected Bluetooth device; reconnect the device if required.
- Download Applist Manager v2 app from the TV app store. In order to find the app on your TV just say the app's highlighted name on the Voice Remote provided with Fire TV/stick.
- Scroll to/search for the name of the malfunctioning app and then select it.
- Now in the next screen first select "Force Stop" and then select "Clear cache", In the next window confirm your choice if asked.
- Then select "Open Application"
- Download Applist Manager v2 app from the TV app store. In order to find the app on your TV just say the app's highlighted name on the Voice Remote provided with Fire TV/stick.
- Scroll to/search for the name of the malfunctioning app and then select it.
- Now in the next screen first select "Force Stop" and then select "Clear Data", In the next window confirm your choice if asked;
NOTE: CLEARING DATA WILL DELETE ALL DATA RELATED TO THE APP FROM YOUR DEVICE INCLUDING PREFERENCES, LOGIN INFO etc. - Then select "Open Application".
- Uninstall and reinstall the malfunctioning application.
