If you have an amazon Fire TV you will have encountered this problem at least once. We ourselves have faced this more than once and have effectively fixed them. Since finding the right solution can be troublesome. Today we will be listing out all possible ways to fix this. We will be updating this post as/if we face more of this problem, hopefully helping you fix it sooner. Without any further adieu, let's get to it.

First, check if internet is connected.
  1. Download Test NetSpeed app from the TV appstore. In order to find the app on your TV just say the app's highlighted name on the Voice Remote provided with Fire TV/stick.
  2. Then run Ping Test.
  3. If it shows some value in ms then internet is available.
Then, check for No of devices connected to your network.
  1. In Test Netspeed app, tap on Scan Network for Connected Devices.
  2. If you see more than 2-5 devices connected to your network, or, some of the devices are not recognized by you, that may be your problem right there.
Then, Close background running apps on your FireTV.

Then, perform download speed test in Test NetSpeed.
  1. Download Test NetSpeed app from the TV appstore. In order to find the app on your TV just say the app's highlighted name on the Voice Remote provided with Fire TV/stick.
  2. Then run Test Download Speed.
  3. It should show some value in Mbps and the maximum resolution of videos supported by your NetSpeed without buffering.
  4. If the Download speed value is too low: Check the maximum speed your plan provides in Mbps(MegaBits Per Second) and compare. If it is lower than what is promised in your plan. Contact the service provider and ensure the strings attached with your plan (Terms and conditions of your plan).
  5. Then upgrade to a better plan if required.

That's all for now!
