Time NetSpeed Monitor ( Google Play Store || Amazon Appstore || Github) puts an internet speedmeter on your Android TVs, Amazon Fire TV iterations (Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, and Fire TV Edition televisions). The app displays the current time at the top right corner of your TV screen and it also allows you to add the current network speed in the upper left corner. You can select which of the two/both to display. The network activity is the live network speed being used by your TV.

Android TV OS 6 and above, Fire TV OS 6 and above lack the accessibility service options to be able to enable Overlay permission for any app; hence users needs to enable it for each app via a command line ADB interface. The method to enable this overlay permission is detailed in our previous post titled Allowing Overlays on TV

Selected/Both pieces of information in the corners will be displayed at all times. This includes while you are in apps and while you are watching videos.Thereby telling you the current net speed at which you are streaming/ browsing and also the current time.
